Description
HUBZONE SETASIDE PROCUREMENT: This solicitation W912P8-14-B-0031 for West Bank & Vicinity, (HSDRRS)/ Mississippi River Levee Mississippi River and Tributaries Project (MRL) Resilient Features Augusta to Oakville (B) WBV-MRL 1.2B B/L Sta. 512+00 to B/L Sta. 560+40 Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana is anticipated to be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) resulting in the award of a single firm fixed price (FFP) contract. The solicitation will issue on or about 24 January 2014 and the anticipated bid opening date is 25 February 2014. The estimated value of this work is between $10,000,000.00 and $20,000,000.00. NAICS Code: 237990. The work consists of clearing and grubbing, placement compacted levee grade fill, demolition and removal of existing crown improvements, relocation of existing levee access ramps, demolition and removal of existing concrete slope pavement, degrading existing levee, surfacing (granular) of the levee crown and access ramps, driving sheetpile, fertilizing, seeding and mulching, maintenance of access roads, and other incidental work. The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation. Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests for the solicitation package will not be honored. Potential contractors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any amendments. The solicitation documents for this procurement will be posted on Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI). You can access these files from a link located on FedBizOps (www.fbo.gov).
