- This solicitation has been modified from a Total Small Business Set-Aside to a Full and Open Competition. The new due date for proposals shall be February 10, 2014. Clauses concerning small businesses have been removed, and the following clauses have been added: 52.219-4 and 52.219-8. All other terms and conditions shall remain the same. This synopsis was formerly referred to as W52P1J-13-R-3BBC and W52P1J-14-R-3002. This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Army Single Face to Industry (AFSI) website located at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/default.cfm North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Codes 322130, 322211, 322212, 322219, 322299. Rock Island Contracting Center intends to award a contract for manufacturing of various sizes of box board components. The Government anticipates requirements for box board packaging material used to ship various sizes of ammunition. A four-year, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract is anticipated. It is anticipated that the contract minimum will be $49,000 and a maximum of $200,000.00. Delivery shall be FOB Destination with inspection and acceptance at the government's facility. The requirement is for three types of supplies: 1. Parachute Cup in accordance with the following attachments: a.) DWG 9369955 b.) ERR Parachute Cup 81mm c.) MIL-DTL-9352621A 81mm 2. Protector Sleeve in accordance with the following attachments: a.) DWG 4214603 b.) ERR Protector Sleeve 155mm c.) MIL-DTL-48249B 3. Spacer in accordance with the following attachments: a.) DWG 9214148 b.) ERR Spacer 155mm c.) MIL-DTL-48249B This procurement will be a small business set-aside. All contractors who provide goods/services to the DOD will be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ or contact Service Desk URL: http://www.FSD.gov (8am - 8pm Eastern Time) US Calls: 866-606-8220 International Calls: 334-206-7828. This solicitation requires online certifications and representations (ORCA) found at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ Failure to complete the ORCA registration may make an offeror ineligible for award. Contractors must be registered in the Joint Certification Program (JCP) at http://www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp/ and submit a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement in order to receive the technical data packages. The solicitation will be available at FedBizOpps and ASFI on or about 08 November 2013. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed.
