Description

NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION: In accordance with the Veterans First Contracting Program and the Authority under 38 USC 8127-8128 (Sections 502 and 503 of Public Law (P.L.) 109-461), FAR Part 6.302-5(b) (6), and VAAR 819.7007, the Government intends to negotiate a sole source contract to a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) for Project #675-13-xxx, Titled "Lightning Protection Repairs for Viera, LKMT, and OVAMC" located at Dept. of Veterans Affairs, Orlando Medical Center (NCO 8), 5201 Raymond Street, Orlando Fl 32803 to renovate the following facilities, Viera OPC, Lakemont Campus, and OVAMC Lake Baldwin Campus so that each will hold the required lightning protection certification (UL Inspection Certificate) as compliant with current electrical code compliance and UL 96A or NFPA 780. The project range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is NAICS 238290, Lightning protection equipment (e.g., lightning rod) installation and the Small Business Size Standard is $33.5M. This is not a solicitation and does not constitute a commitment or an obligation by the government. This notice is not a request for offers, quotes or proposals. This acquisition is 100% Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Only. The government intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Blue Cord Construction Services, an SDVOSB concern. This SDVOSB Company is listed in the VetBiz registry and is CVE Verified.
