Description

1. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Central Arkansas VAMC intends to solicit quotations for Maintenance, repair and upgrade of two Neopost Model IS6000 Mail Machines. A Statement of Work (SOW) will be included in the solicitation. The Request for Quotations number is VA-256-14-Q-. 2. The solicitation will result in the award of a base year contract with four one year options. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed-price contract. The applicable NAICS code is 811219 - Other electronic and precision equipment repair and maintenance and the small business size standard is $19.0 Million. 3. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be honored. When issued, the solicitation will be available via the FedBizOpps website, http://www.fbo.gov/. The tentative solicitation issue date is 12/16/2013, and the anticipated closing date is 01/02/2014. Interested offerors are advised to consult the actual solicitation for final dates and times. 4. Offers from all capable and responsible sources will be considered. Firms offering a response to this notice should ensure that their registration in the Systems for Award Management (SAM) database http://www.sam.gov/ is current and should ensure that the applicable NAICS code (811219) is included in the SAM profile prior to submission of quotations
