- A market survey is being conducted to determine if there are a reasonable number of interested small business concerns to set this future project aside for them. If your firm is a Small Business, certified HUBZONE, 8A, Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned Small Business or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business and you are interested in this project please respond appropriately. The proposed project is for A/E services for an IDIQ contract to provide Survey and Mapping support to the Louisville District Corps of Engineers. Anticipated contract work includes professional services to support design, construction, operations and maintenance (O&M) of USACE civil works projects including, but not limited to; embankment and concrete gravity dams, levee and floodwall systems, navigation structures, channel improvement and stream bank stabilization. Anticipated contract work also includes professional services to support military programs for federal agencies including but not limited to; Army, Army Reserves, National Guard, Air Force, Air Force Reserves, Navy, Marine Corps, Defense Logistics Agency, other Department of Defense Services and other Federal Agencies. Types of Surveying and Mapping services may include but are not limited to: (1) Field Work by conventional line-of sight instruments, total stations, levels, terrestrial scanners and RTK GPS equipment. Computation and reduction of field observations will be performed. Reduced data will be compiled and displayed in Cadd environment using Microstation. All Cadd files will be required to conform to the AEC (Architecture Engineering & Construction) Cadd Standard. a. Topographic Mapping b. Traverse and Triangulation c. Levels for Vertical Control d. Route Location Surveys e. Quantity Surveys f. Layout Surveys g. Deformation Surveys h. Cross Section and Channel Surveys i. Stationary and Mobile Terrestrial Laser Scanning j. Geodetic Surveys (2) Hydrographic Surveys. Single and multi-beam surveys and side-scan sonar. Hydrographic surveys will be performed in both shallow and deep water conditions on the lakes and rivers of the Louisville District Corps of Engineers. Hydrographic data will be compiled in a Microstation Cadd environment and comply with the AEC Cadd Standard. Some hydrographic data will be required to be in S57 format for use in Inland Electronic Navigation Charts (IENC). (3) Photogrammetric Work. Various types of work required in photogrammetric and ortho-photo mapping may include aerial photography, analytical photo control, stereo digital compilation in 3D (soft copy), CADD work, digitizing, digital terrain model (DTM) creation, scanning and reproduction work. Projects may also require the use of Light Detection & Ranging (LIDAR), unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and other remote sensing equipment and platforms. All Cadd files will be compiled in Microstation and conform to the AEC Cadd Standard. (4) Geographic Information System (GIS) Work. The contractor will be required to perform GIS projects for the Louisville District Corps of Engineers. GIS work will include creating graphic layers with attribution and database development. The GIS products will be compiled in ArcMap Version 10 or higher and will conform to the SDSFIE Standard. Contract duration is estimated at five (5) years from date of award. The estimated cost range is $800,000 per year. NAICS is 541370. (3) A statement of the portion of the work that will be self performed on this project, and how it will be accomplished.
