Description
J&A This acquisition is for the placement of a sole source contract for the continuation in support of the Integrated Network Enhanced Telemetry (INET) Program which includes the development and integration of the enhanced Telemetry Network System (TmNS) required for providing real time test information between in-flight aircraft and ground personnel. This is a follow-on effort that supports the development of a new generation of standardized network enabled components in accordance with the draft INET standards in preparation for transferring the INET standards to the Range Commanders Council (RCC) for long-term maintenance. The reference applications are used in direct support for validating/refining the interoperability as defined by the draft standards and is used to prove system concepts and work out operational process and procedures. Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) will continue their ongoing software development, integration and testing efforts, and provide maintenance support as the System Manager reference applications are integrated at different testing sites and during interoperability/compliance testing against other hardware components currently being developed under various contracts as part of the ongoing INET project. This acquisition is in support of the INET Program Office, AIR 5.2.9 located at 47758 Ranch Road, Building 1492, Patuxent River, Maryland.
