Description
Sole Source CJ&A The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award an order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-11-G-0001, with The Boeing Company of St. Louis, MO. The contractor shall provide integrated logistics support, program management, and sustaining engineering in support of all USN and FMS F/A-18 and EA-18 type/model/series. Requirements include, but are not limited to, support of the following areas: program management, configuration management, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) impact assessments, technical data, support equipment sustainment, training systems, site activation planning, sustaining engineering, provisioning, maintenance planning, Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System technical support, Hornet Support Network, special tooling (ST) and special test equipment (STE) management and supportability analysis. It is anticipated that calendar year 2014 will be the base period of performance and calendar year 2015 will be an optional period of performance. This award is based on Title 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), whereby the supplies or services required are available from only one source, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Boeing Company is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, integrator, and supplier of the F/A-18 and E/A-18 aircraft and is uniquely qualified to provide the complete range of program support required by the Fleet. The Boeing Company is the only known firm that possesses the technical data, resources, and expertise necessary to fulfill the Government's requirements.
