THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE AWARD AND NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The National Park Service intends to solicit a proposal and enter into a contract with Hankins Stone for _custom cut stone for trail maintenance at Colorado National Monument which is unique in color to the Colorado Plateau area_, 303 W. 3rd St., Dove Creek, Colorado, 81324 under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Intent of NPS is to establish a purchase order using firm fixed prices. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals, or quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals, or quotations received in response to this notice; however any firm that believes they have capabilities to provide this requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer at Julie_Newland@nps.gov. All comments received before 4:30 pm MT 17 January 2014 will be considered.
