- The 87th Contracting Squadron is performing market research to determine potential sources in the preparation of a potential future contract. This request for information (RFI) does not commit the Government to pay any cost incurred in preparation of any submission to this Sources Sought Notice or to a contract for services. THIS IS A MARKET SURVEY FOR INFORMATION ONLY. The potential requirement will be the following: The Contractor shall provide the necessary personnel and vehicle support for the operation of the JB MDL Vehicle Operations. This includes administrative personnel, vehicle and equipment dispatch, shuttle bus services, troop movement transportation, vehicle and equipment operation for loading/unloading cargo and/or rolling stock on commercial carriers, surface cargo transport in support of mobilization/demobilization, transport of government leased vehicles to and from local vendors for maintenance, operator servicing and inspection of government leased vehicles, driver training/testing. The contractor is required to provide vehicles for the performance of this contract. The standards for performance, operation, and instruction will be in accordance with (IAW) the standards contained herein, as well as all applicable regulations, policies, and memorandums. For Example: - Deliver and/or pickup vehicles scheduled for repair and/or services. - Inspect, clean, and perform operator maintenance for assigned vehicles and equipment IAW applicable regulations and instructions. - Operate shuttle bus service IAW established bus routes and schedules with two (2) buses running continuously from 0700 to 2100 hours, 7 days per week. - Operate an on-call shuttle bus service - Conduct commercial driver's license training (Classroom and road). - Operate vehicles and equipment to transport freight. - Dispatch vehicles as required to meet customer requirements. - Provide monthly workload summary reports to appropriate Government personnel within a specified reporting period. Any interested firms should submit a written capability statement to include their experience in operating Vehicle Operation Services. In the capabilities statement, potential contractors should provided their size status for the above referenced NAICS (i.e. large or small business) and whether or not they are a certified HUBZone, Section 8 (a), women-owned, small disadvantaged, and/or service-disabled veteran owned business. Capability statements shall not exceed six (6) pages. Capability statements should be submitted to Paul Gouveia at paul.gouveia@us.af.mil no later than 17 January 2014.
