Description

Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, labor, supervision, and expertise to perform construction for Project number 623-10-107 ICU Headwall Relocation at Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center, Muskogee, Oklahoma, in accordance with project plans and specifications. Contract shall be completed within 270 Days following Notice to Proceed. In general, the scope includes all architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection work to complete the following: 1.Renovate 25 patient rooms on 3rd Floor West and 4th Floor West of Building 53 to include: a.Installation of medical gas and vacuum isolation valves within the existing four (4) zones, each requiring re-certification of lines. b.Demolition of 25 existing headwall units. c.Demolition and replacement of all existing acoustical ceilings within patient rooms. d.Demolition of VCT flooring and installation of new seamless flooring within patient rooms. e.Demolition and replacement of existing HVAC registers. f.Relocation or replacement of fire protection piping and sprinkler heads in the remodeled areas. g.Relamping of existing light fixtures, converting from 28w to 24w lamps. h.Demolition of select sings and countertops with new wall hung lavatories to be installed. i.Patching and repainting of all walls and ceilings. j.Installation of 25 new headwall units and connection of electrical power, medical gas and vacuum lines and telecommunications. All medical gas and vacuum lines to be re-certified before turning rooms over to owner. 2.Scope of work to be accomplished in four (4) major phases within an active patient care area. The dollar magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The NAICS is 236220 applies and size standard is $33.5.0 Million. This procurement is 100% Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. To be eligible for award the SDVOSB must be considered small under the relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified in the following websites: www.ccr.gov; www.orca.bpn.gov; and www.vets100.vets.dol.gov. Those desiring to receive an award from this solicitation also must be registered at www.vetbiz.gov. Companies must have the Certified Veteran Enterprise (CVE) seal on their registration to be considered for an award. You must register as "Interested Vendor" at the Fedbizopps website for solicitation. In order to receive e-mail notification of amendments, you must register in www.Fedbizopps.gov; "To Receive Notification" for amendments. Amendments to this solicitation will not be mailed, but will be posted at the Fedbizopps website. Offerors are responsible for obtaining solicitation from Fedbizopps and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation. Contract Specialist is Jack Caperton.
