Description

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, Jacksonville, FL intends to issue a follow-on Sole Source Request for Proposal (RFP) to Jeppesen Sanderson, Inc., a Boeing company, located at 55 Inverness Drive East, Englewood, CO 80112. The proposed effort is for the continued provision of proprietary, highly specialized mission planning software to support the Commander, Fleet Logistics Support Wing (CFLSW) and 4th Marine Air wing (MAW) and schedule worldwide airlift logistics that is currently being performed by Jeppesen Sanderson, Inc. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). The North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) Code is 541511 with a standard size of $25.5 million dollars. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, if you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these requirements, then you must respond by demonstrating your firm's technical capability and understanding of the Navy ™s intra-theater airlift capability, worldwide airlift logistics and specialized mission planning software. Responses to this notice shall be sent to audrey.hogg@navy.mil no later than 2 PM EST Tuesday, January 8, 2014. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
