- Description
- This is a Total Small Business Set Aside requirement for the overhaul of the C5, C130 linear direct valve. The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish the remanufacture, test, packing, preservation and packaging of the C5, C130 linear direct valve. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. The solicitation number will be FA8118-14-R-0013. The item and quantities are as follows: Item 0001: Remanufacture: NSN 4810-00-761-6225RK, P/N: 47680 Noun, linear direct valve; Applicable to C5, C130 aircraft; Quantity: Basic Year, 16 each; Option I, 16 each; Option II, 16 each; Option III, 16 each; Option IV, 16 each. Item 0002: Data IAW DD 1423. Item 0003: Over & Above. Deliveries are to be 3 each per month 30 days after receipt of order and reparables. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 21 Jan 2014. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS APPLY. For qualification information/source approval requests contact Source Development Office, OC-ALC/BC (405)739-7243. Award will be based on meeting our requirements and cannot be delayed pending qualifications of additional sources. APPROVED SMALL BUSINESS SOURCES are: Gulf Aerospace Inc., Airtronics Inc., and Texas Aerospace Services. PR Number is FD2030-13-00623. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
