- Description
- Sweeping Jet Actuator Technology Support for NAVAIR Active Flow Control on a Representative High Performance Military Wing. Solicitation N00421-14-T-0078 is issued as a synopsis/solicitation. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase request on a full and open competitive basis, under the authority of FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. Request is set-aside for Total Small Business under the authority of FAR Part 52.219-6. The requirement is for Sweeping Jet Actuator Technology Support for NAVAIR Active Flow Control on a Representative High Performance Military Wing. Advanced Fluidics is the only known source who can perform the required testing and they hold numerous patents on sweeping jet arrays that will be used in wind tunnel testing for NAVAIR. Accepting proposals for Exact Match Only per Statement of Work. Similar or Substitute testing procedure will not be accepted. Interested parties must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) Database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any Department of Defense contract. This can be accomplished electronically at http://www.sam.gov/vendor.cfm See Attached RFQ for Statement of Work. Solicitation will close on 03 January 2014 at 1600 EST. The Government will not pay for any information received.
