Description
Fluid Waste Collector Unit 1-REQUESTING A COLLECTION, TRANSPORT AND DISPOSAL SYSTEM FOR FLUID WASTE IN SURGERY. THESE SYSTEMS ARE USED IN UROLOGY AND ARTHROSCOPIC CASES WHERE LARGE VOLUMES OF FLUIDS ARE USED. THE RESERVOIRS SHOULD HAVE A FLUID CAPACITY OF 32,000ML MINIMUM. THE SUCTION RANGE SHOULD BE 0-700MM/HG, ADJUSTABLE AND INDEPENDENT OF CONNECTING TO IN HOUSE WALL SUCTION. THERE SHOULD BE A DIGITAL READOUT OF THE VOLUME OF FLUID OBTAINED DURING THE CASE AND A MEANS OF ZEROING OUT THE TOTAL AT THE END OF THE CASE. THE UNIT SHOULD BE EASILY TRANSPORTED EVEN WHEN FULL. THE CLEANING CYCLE SHOULD TAKE 5-20MINUTES. THE SYSTEM SHOULD BE QUIET AND EASY TO WIPE DOWN BETWEEN CASES. -Similar to Model # ULDU 500Quantity- 3 2-ADJUSTABLE IV POLE ABLE TO HOLD 2 6000ML BAGS OF FLUID. THE POLE IS ATTACHED TO THE MAIN WASTE DISPOSAL UNIT SO THE UNIT AND FLUIDS CAN MOVE AS ONE. IT IS IMPORTANT FOR THE IV POLE TO BE ADJUSTED BY POWER SINCE THE IV BAGS ARE TOO HEAVY TO MANUALLY RAISE AND LOWER. -Similar to Model # ULPP 100 Quantity- 3 3-EVACUATION STATION WHERE THE FLUID WASTE CAN BE EMPTIED AND THE REUSABLE RESERVOIRS CAN BE CLEANED, RINSED AND READIED FOR REUSE IN THE OR. -Similar to Model # ULEV 100Quantity- 1 4-SCALE PREVENTER: SCALE IS FORMED BY 'HARD SALTS' IN THE WATER. WHEN HEATED THE CALCIUM AND MAGNESIUM SALTS CAN CRYSTALIZE AND BUILD UP ON THE INSIDE OF THE PIPES. THIS LEADS TO INCREASED WATER PRESSURE IN THE PIPES, DECREASED WATER FLOW, USE OF CHEMICALS TO BREAKDOWN THE SALTS WHICH CAUSES MORE DAMAGE THE PIPES. BY INSTALLING THE SCALE PREVENTER, THE ABOVE PROBLEMS CAN BE MINIMIZED AND OR PREVENTED. -Similar to Model # TPSP100Quantity- 1 5-A verification log must be filled out by a trained staff member daily. -Similar to Model # TPVL100Quantity- 1
