- Synopsis: The Department of the Interior, National Park Service (NPS) intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) P14PS00085 to obtain Inspection and Maintenance services for various fire suppression systems at Valley Forge National Historical Park, King of Prussia, PA by means of a Combination Firm Fixed Price and Indefinite Delivery Contract. The work includes providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation and supervision for inspection and maintenance services for various systems at Valley Forge National Historical Park, King of Prussia, PA. The Firm Fixed Price portion of the contract will include inspections and maintenance along with a limited number of service calls. The contract will also include an Indefinite Quantity Portion for repairs to the systems. Work under the Indefinite Quantity will be ordered via written Task Orders by the Contracting Officer. The intended contract will consist of a base period from the time of award to 30 September 2014 with four (4) one (1) year options. The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement. FAR 52.217-5 will be included in the solicitation. This project is being solicited as 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The solicitation including all bid documents will be posted to the websites, http://www.fedbizopps.gov and https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect on or about 8 January 2014. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed or issued. To receive the solicitation package you must download it from one of the above sites. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. Contractors must be registered in the SAM-System for Award Management (Formally Central Contractor Registration) in order to receive contract awards. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 561621, Security System Services the Size Standard is 12.5 million dollars. The Service Contract Act is applicable to this solicitation. There will be a site visit, and perspective proposers are encouraged to visit the site to satisfy themselves as to conditions and equipment before providing a quote. The date and time for the site visit will be specified in the solicitation.
