Description

This is a Sources Sought notice - DO NOT SUBMIT PROPOSALS. The purpose of this Sources Sought announcement is to identify sources capable of providing support for this effort. The information received will be used for market research. Responses from small businesses are highly encouraged. The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office 19 has a possible requirement for off-site mammography services in Denver, Colorado Springs and Pueblo Colorado in accordance with the attached of Performance Work Statement. The DRAFT PWS attached to this Sources Sought Announcement outlines the specific level of support and facility required at each location. Interested business concerns, large or small, should review the attached draft PWS and submit the completed questionnaire that is attached. Note that the PWS is only a draft and may change when the solicitation is issued; however, the core requirement will not change. The anticipated NAICS code is 621512, Mammography Services, with a small business size standard of $14M. It is anticipated that there will be three contracts - One for the Denver area, one for the Colorado Springs area and one for the Pueblo area. Each will be providing reports to the VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System in Denver, CO. It is estimated that each contract will contain a 12 month base period plus two (2) 12-month option periods and will be firm fixed-price contract. Interested organizations are required to identify their size standards in accordance with the Small Business Administration. The Government requests that no proprietary or confidential business data be submitted in a response to this notice. However, responses that indicate the information therein is proprietary will be properly safeguarded for Government use only. All completed questionnaires sent in response to this Sources Sought Notice must be submitted electronically (via email) to Monique King, Contract Specialist at Monique.king@va.gov by 5:00 PM Mountain Time, 1/6/14. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in the response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. After review of the responses received, pre-solicitation and solicitation notices may be published in Federal Business Opportunities or VA GSA. However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a solicitation. The solicitation release date is pending.
