- 14RJR06_syn This solicitation is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/. FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet. Please feel free to use the FBO site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. The Government intends to enter into a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with ROTHENBUHLER ENGINEERING, 524 RHOADES ROAD, SEDRO WOOLLEY, WASHINGTON, CAGE CODE 60683, in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This proposed procurement is for the maintenance of the MK 186 MOD 2 Remote Firing Device and MK 67 MOD 0 Demolition Firing Device Kits in accordance with government specifications and statement of work. Solicitation will be issued for an anticipated Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract that will cover a five year ordering period. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Priced (FFP) five year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a minimum quantity of 20 each MK 186 MOD 2 and 20 each MK 67 MOD 0 and a maximum quantity of 500 each MK 186 MOD 2 and 250 each MK 67 MOD 0 with an anticipated award date of July 2014. Delivery terms are 150 days after effective date of order with F.O.B at destination. Inspection and acceptance are at destination. This will be a non-commercial acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 15. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one responsible source under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The basis for restricting competition is the Government does not own the rights to the technical data package. A sole source procurement is required to conduct maintenance of these items from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Only the OEM has the knowledge of the item required to conduct the maintenance. Since this is a sole source procurement, a solicitation will not be posted to the internet. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
