- The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District is seeking small business sources for a construction project entitled, Dworshak Powerhouse Lobby Offices. This will be a firm fixed-price construction contract. The place of performance is the Walla Walla Army Corps of Engineers' Dworshak Dam, Ashaka, ID. Construction magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. A payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required. The NAICS Code for this project is 236220 and the associated small business size standard is no more than $33,500,000.00 in average annual receipts. This sources sought announcement is a tool to identify businesses with the capability to accomplish the work. This is not a solicitation. Only those firms who respond to this announcement by submitting the following information will be used in determining whether to set aside this requirement. Please do not respond to this notice unless you intend to submit an offer when the official solicitation is released. 1) A statement or list of current and/or past technical experience similar to or the same as the summary scope of work. Include a brief description of each project scope; your firm's role in the project; project schedule, including completion date (or projected completion date); and dollar value. 2) A reference list for each of the projects submitted in #1 above. Include the name, title, current phone number and email address. 3) A statement of your firm's bonding capacity. 4) A statement of your firm's business size and type (HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8(a), women-owned). 5) Cage Code and DUNS number. Summary of Scope of Work: This contract is for the construction of three offices within the Dworshak Powerhouse lobby using commercial construction methods. Construction materials include drywall, steel studs, paint, carpet, doors, windows, acoustic ceiling tile, and trim. Electrical requirement includes wiring for duplex receptacles, network and phone connections. Demolition of 6 square feet of a 6 quote mark concrete wall will be necessary for installation of a pass-through window between the lobby and control room for clearance maintenance. A counter and shelving next to the pass-through window will be installed.
