- The Department of the Navy (DON) hosted the second of a series of industry days for the Defense Healthcare Management System Modernization (DHMSM) program on 4 December 2013. The purpose of this Industry Day was to provide industry the Program Executive Offices (PEOs) vision of the deployment of the DHMSM program, how DHMSM will serve the Department of Defense and Veterans Affairs healthcare systems, and industrys role in achieving a successful solution. In addition, the Program Manager (PM) and Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO) provided strategic insights and staff introductions in support of the programs way ahead. The Industry Day concluded with a Question and Answer session. Responses to the comments/questions received during the event and in the days following are posted below. Responses may include references to the DHMSM Technical Data Repository (TDR). Please follow the instructions below to gain access to the DHMSM TDR: The DHMSM TDR is hosted by MITRE, an FFRDC. To request access to the DHMSM TDR send an email request to DHMSMdata@bah.com with the subject line DHMSM Account Request. All requests must list the name, company and email address of each individual requesting an account. DHMSM will direct a MITRE representative to begin the process of granting access. A MITRE representative will respond to each individual with a confirmation email and instructions to access the tech data. The confirmation email subject line will read Invitation to access MITRE Community Share Partners. Be advised that obtaining access to the MITRE tech data hosting site is a multi-step process and individuals requesting access may experience lag times of up to 4 hours between each step, but will not exceed 3 business days for the completion of the entire process. Once the aforementioned steps have been completed, each individual will receive an email from MITRE to acknowledge the granting of access and be prompted to establish a user ID and password to access the site.
