Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Mountain Home, TN, is preparing to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Project Number 621-12-102, to Replace Acoustical Wall Panels, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), Mountain Home, TN. SET-ASIDE: 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOSB) PROJECT MAGNITUDE: $100,000 TO $250,000 NAICS: 238310 - Drywall and Insulation Contractors SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: $14 million PROJECT OVERVIEW: The project will require the selected contractor to provide all construction services to demolish and replace acoustical wall panels located within buildings 200, 77 and 160 at the Huntington VAMC. Work shall include but not limited to the demolition of existing wall panels, preparation for substrate for new wall panels, relocation of utilities, install new wall panels, wall coverings and specialty surfaces. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work, specifications and drawings. This requirement is a 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses under the authority of 38 U.S.C 8127(d). To be eligible for award the SDVOSB must be considered small under the relevant NAICS code. SDVOSB contractors must be verified and viewable in VETBIZ www.vip.vetbiz.gov prior to submission of bid and prior to award of contract. Status as a qualified SDVOSB concern is under the authority of 38 CFR Part 74 in accordance with the VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) Part 819. Eligibility determination is performed by the Center for Veterans Enterprises (CVE). Eligible SDOVSB concerns must also be registered at the following websites: System for Award Management (SAM): https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ VETS100 Report must be complete: http://www.dol.gov/vets/vets-100.html The solicitation will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website www.fbo.gov on or about December 30, 2013.
