- Western Area Power Administration intends to negotiate a sole source contract for NEXANT Software Support. This acquisition will be handled as a commercial item acquisition prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13. GE Energy Management Services has the proprietary ownership and exclusive distribution and support of GE XA/21 NEXANT software support. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this is 511210 and the business size standard is $35.5 Million. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS/QUOTES. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement in response to this requirement, which shall be considered by the agency. Capability statements must be received within 5 days after date of publication of this notice and shall include documentation on ability to satisfy the Government's requirements.
