Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-71. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 721110 with a small business size standard of $30M. Should this request not result in an adequate number of interested small business(es), the Government intends to enter into negotiations and award to a large business. Hotels must be located within the city limits of Sioux Falls, SD. The Government plans to issue a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation parts 6 and 13. The Government may elect to issue a single BPA or multiple BPAs for the same or similar supplies or services to two or more sources. The scope of any pursuant Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) shall be limited only to the rental of rooms for authorized government personnel traveling on South Dakota Air National Guard business. This BPA will be in effect for a period not to exceed 5 years in accordance with the established terms and conditions of this agreement. This announcement should not be construed as a commitment by the Government to award a contract. The Government will be obligated only to the extent of authorized orders/calls actually made under any pursuant BPA. All orders made against any pursuant BPA(s) will be rotated amongst all BPA holders. The Government will not pay more than the current GSA Domestic Per Diem Rates for lodging in Sioux Falls, SD less than http://www.gsa.gov/portal/category/100120 greater than. Preference will be given to hotels offering rates at or better than the quote mark State Lodging Rate quote mark which is established for employees of the state of South Dakota traveling on state business.
