- This solicitation is being posted to Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/. FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet. Please feel free to use the FBO site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division has a requirement for deep drawn aluminum housings which provide storage for AN/ALE-47 countermeasures dispenser housing magazine. The housing contains wire harness which has fire pulses sent through it to initiate countermeasure dispensing. Wire harness is terminated at a molded 48 pin connector inside of housing. Four 303 See condition B receptacles provided attachment points for dispenser magazine. Barrel connector provides aircraft electrical interface. Three variants of this housing (D-66, D-67, D-73) along with four components of the housings are included in this contract requirement. The aluminum housings shall be manufactured in accordance with NSWC Crane drawings 3268AS500, 3646AS500, 4009AS500; and NAVAIR drawings 3268AS414, 3646AS414, 3268AS403, 3268AS420. It is anticipated that this action will result in, five year, firm fixed price, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity, supply type contract. The minimum quantity that will be ordered is at least twenty-five AN/ALE-47 Housings. Foreign Military Sales funding will be utilized for this requirement. The anticipated delivery term for this acquisition will be FOB Destination, Crane, Indiana. Delivery of the AN/ALE-47 Housings will be required 120 days after contract award. Inspection and Acceptance is anticipated to be at Destination. The contract will be entered into on a competitive, best value basis considering past performance and price with award. The Government may award to more than one offeror. First Articles units will be required. All First Article Testing will be by the Government. The Government will provide material for First Article fabrication. The Government Furnished Material will include: 3 EA of 3268AS425-001, Clamp, Cable, Dispenser, Bottom. The Contractor shall not be required to perform First Article Testing at their facility or provide any reports. First Articles may be waived if the same First Article hardware has been approved before. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business concerns in accordance with FAR Subpart 19.5, "Set-Asides for Small Business". FAR Part 12 procedures will not be utilized for this procurement. Contractors must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and in the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in order to receive the solicitation attachments. Offerors may obtain information on CCR registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220 or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov. Information about the JCP is located at http://www.dlis.dla.mil. The solicitation attachments will be posted to FedBizOpps at the same time the solicitation is posted. FedBizOpps may be accessed at http://www.fbo.gov. The solicitation will be made available on or about 06 January 2014 at Fed Biz Opps. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed.
