Description
Request for Information #D14PS00038 Amendment One (1) A Market Survey for Vendor Capabilities and Vendor Comments of the Draft Requirements Documents To Provide Maintenance Support for Integrated Digital Voice Communication (IDVC) System The Government issued a Request for Information (RFI) for this requirement on November 14, 2013 on FedBiz Opps and GSA eBuy which initially closed on December 4, 2013. The purpose of this Amendment One to the RFI is twofold: 1)The Government seeks to collect contact information from any potential sources that are interested in a possible subcontracting and/or teaming opportunity in the near future and are capable of performing all or part of the work described in the RFI attachments. For potential sources responding to this item #1, the Government requests that you please provide via email your companys name, address, phone number, the name of your primary point of contact, and GSA Schedule number (if applicable) only. The contact information for any potential subcontractors/teaming partners obtained from this announcement will be included in the forthcoming Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quote (RFQ) to be solicited on either FedBizOpps or GSA e-Buy during the first part of calendar 2014. The submission of a contractors contact information does not guarantee a subcontracting/team arrangement with another vendor. The Government will not participate or facilitate in the formation of any subcontracting/teaming arrangements between contractors. All communications regarding such arrangements must be between contractors only. Potential Sources Contact Information Due: All contact information for this item #1 shall be in electronic format, and emailed to the contracting office. All contact information shall be received by no later than December 17, 2013 at 12:00 Noon Eastern Time to Geraldine_Lyons@ibc.doi.gov AND Catherine_Gleasman@ibc.doi.gov and reference the RFI number D14PS00038 in the subject line. Note: Potential Sources interested in a possible subcontracting and/or teaming opportunity submitting contact information do NOT submit responses to the RFI Market Survey. This item #1 is separate from item # 2 below. 2)The Response Due date for this RFI Survey for Vendor Capabilities and Vendor Comments is hereby extended to Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 12:00 Noon, Eastern Time. For all interested parties wishing to respond to the RFI survey itself (instead of to item #1 above), the revised response due date information is as follows: RFI Responses Due: All responses will be electronic format, and emailed to the contracting office. All responses must be received not later than Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 12:00 Noon Eastern Time to Geraldine_Lyons@doi.ibc.gov AND Catherine_Gleasman@doi.ibc.gov. Recap of Purpose of RFI Survey for Vendor Capabilities and Vendor Comments The RFI has been issued to survey vendor capabilities and comments regarding the Governments potential requirement for hardware and software maintenance for telephony nodes at various locations throughout the United States. The requirement is for a Contractor (either alone or with a subcontracting and/or teaming arrangement), to provide the following: 1.24/7 hardware and software maintenance coverage during system failures. The requirement also requires a 24 hour toll free number where the operator can dispatch a certified technician who will respond and be on-site within four hours if the issue cannot be resolved remotely. 2.On-site maintenance support at its OCIO Denver location. The intent is to provide on-site technical support for the daily operation of Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Enterprise (OXE) Telephony system and Genesys & OmniTouch Contact Center applications and AVST CX-E Voice Mail System. The requirement is to have a certified technician on-site during core business hours to perform high-level troubleshooting as well as move-adds-changes (MAC). 3.A Certified Genesys Administrator is anticipated. The Administrator will be responsible for the full system administration of the Genesys product suite of components. The Administrator may be remote or onsite at the OCIO Denver or Washington D.C. area location. DOI reserves the right to change location in the future. 4.Installation of telephony hardware and software in the event of failure, normal wear and tear, or the addition of a new site to the IDVC. The full RFI document and attachments, including the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS), can be accessed at: Fed Connect https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect/Default.htm and GSA E-Buy https://www.gsaadvantage.gov under RFQ835647.
