Description

Project Number 568-14-215, Building 4A Remodel (Hot Springs, SD). Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to perform demolition and construction according to the plans and specifications to Remodel Building 4A at the VA Black Hills Medical Center - Hot Springs Campus at 500 North 5th Street, Hot Springs, South Dakota, 57747. All work associated with this project must be substantially compete within 60 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Work includes, but is not limited to, general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, necessary demolition and removal of existing structures and certain other items necessary for completion. Work shall be performed in strict accordance with the specifications and drawings of the solicitation (when available) and all applicable VA and local codes. Solicitation Number VA263-14-Q-0768 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about December 13, 2013. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to furnish a quote for the project. Quotes are tentatively scheduled to be due by Tuesday December 31, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time (see solicitation when available for official time/date). The Period of Performance is expected to be approximately 60 calendar days from the receipt of Notice-to-Proceed. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00.
