- PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall perform road maintenance service as needed on Forest Service roads on the Cherokee National Forest, North Zone. A firm fixed price, indefinite quantity, requirements contract is expected to result from this solicitation. Work will include road reconditioning, restoring ditches, removing, cleaning, and installing culverts, installing silt fence, seeding and mulching, clearing and grubbing, and furnishing and truck spreading aggregate. Incidental items of work include painting and repairing gates, installing signs, and installing furnished guardrail. Contractor will be paid at quoted pricing for actual work performed as assigned through Task Orders. More than one award may result from this solicitation. Period of performance will be from date of award through December 31, 2014. SET-ASIDE: Project is 100% set aside for Small Business. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: Between $25,000 and $150,000. PROJECT LOCATION: Watauga and Nolichucky Ranger Districts, Cherokee National Forest, including Greene, Cocke, Johnson, Sullivan, Carter, Washington, and Unicoi counties, Tennessee.
