- Description
- ****** Site Visit Q&A*********** Posted 6 Dec 2013 Q1: The contractor shall de-install two (2) Sony projectors, and two (2) Crestron Touch Panels. - Who is responsible for the de-installed two (2) Sony projectors, and two (2) Crestron Touch Panels once they are removed meaning are they turnover or do we dispose? A1 - The Government will keep the de-installed two (2) Sony projectors and two (2) Crestron Touch Panels. Q2: The contractor shall provide new software coding for the touch panel systems to control all features currently available in the room. This will include the functionality of the new projectors as well. - What are the current features? A2. Please see attachment entitled Touch Panel Functions and Features. Q3: The new touch panel software must be able to function the same way the current touch panel software functions. Capabilities shall include, but are not limited to, split and combined room configurations, audio controls, projector screen controls, switching between various inputs and outputs for video and audio, switching between different wall plates and new projector operations. - What is the complete list of functions currently employed? A3. Please see attachment entitled Touch Panel Functions and Features. Q4 The contractor shall provide and install a composite video input in the back of house wall plates. - Which wall plate style, number and location of plates? Q5 Existing touch panel input plates in these wall boxes will need to be removed. - Which wall plate style, number and location of plates? A4 & A5: Two A/V wall plates in rear of room already exist. The requirement should be interpreted as to ensure that composite video of the screen projection and house audio (line-level) are STILL available at these plates, as was their original function. This would entail for example the verification and/or repair of scan converters, and ensure programming still transmits A/V to these wall plates.
