Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs in Valley Coastal Bend Texas, VISN 17, intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with Instrumentation Laboratory Company for the purchase of medical products: Reagents, Plasma Calibrators and Controls, Solutions and Consumables and usage of ACL TOP 300/500 equipment in the Pathology Laboratory Medicine. NAICS code 325413/339112. Justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a) (2) (ii) (A), only one responsible source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no valid responses are received, the South Texas Veterans Health Care System will proceed with the intended sole source contract. Responses must be received no later than 12:00 P.M.
