- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution in Greenville, Illinois intends to issue a solicitation for the provision of an Advanced Occupational Training program in the area of Dog Trainer Certification. The services are to be provided at the Federal Prison Camp. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The award will be made to the responsible company or individual who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government based on price related factors only. The contract period shall consist of one base year from effective date of award through September 30, 2014 and four 12-month option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the Government. The estimated quantities for the base and each option period for dog obedience instruction services are four (4) sessions per week. Each session is one hour in length. The solicitation will be available on or about December 06, 2013 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is January 03, 2014. The solicitation is 100% set-a-side for small business. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The website for registration is www.sam.gov. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this service is 611699. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered.
