- Human Systems Division (HSD) INDUSTRY WEEK ANNOUNCEMENT The Human Systems Division's (AFLCMC/WNU) mission is to develop, test, field, and analyze advanced human systems to enhance warfighter performance, protection, and survivability. "Every Airman, Every Aircraft, Every Day!" HSD will be delivering briefings to the Aircrew Flight Equipment (AFE) and Aeromedical industries from 11-13 March 2014 at the Hope Hotel in Dayton, OH (outside Wright-Patterson AFB Gate 12A). The purpose of this event is to facilitate two-way communication between industry and Government regarding the status of ongoing programs and activities relevant to AFE and Aeromed. Program updates, Safe-to-Fly processes, and Aircrew Performance Executive Council priorities are a few of the topics that may be covered. There will be no vendor booths set up at this event. Additionally, HSD seeks industry feedback on the following: 1. Emerging technologies applicable to Human Systems 2. Contractor Funded R&D 3. Partnering The tentative Agenda is as follows: 11 March: 9:00 to 11:30 - Briefings from HSD leadership 11:30 to 1:00 - Lunch 1:00 to 4:00 - Briefings from HSD programs 12 March: 9:00 to 11:30 - 1-on-1 Industry/Government sessions (approx. 15 minutes each) 11:30 to 1:00 - Lunch 1:00 to 4:00 - 1-on-1 continued 13 March: 9:00 to 11:30 - Tours of Materials and Textiles Lab, Life Sciences Equipment Lab, Aeromed Lab, and Air Force Uniform Office Please complete the RSVP form at the following link: https://einvitations.afit.edu/inv/anim.cfm?i=176056&k=036644097E51 Please RSVP by 3 March 2014. If you wish to brief a presentation please bring your unclassified presentation on appropriately marked CD-ROM/DVDs and give it to the government contracting official.
