- Description
- The VA Salt Lake City Health Care System (VASLCHCS) is seeking providers of psychosocial rehabilitation and recovery centers, (PRRC). The PRRC are defined as outpatient transitional learning centers designed to support recovery and integration into meaningful, self-determine community roles for veterans challenged with serious mental illness and severe functional impairment. Programming is curriculum-based and is specifically designed to teach the requisite skills that are necessary for defining and realizing Veteran's self-chosen roles and goals in all domains of health and life. PRRC services are part of the mental health continuum of care and are coordinated with other services in the VAMC and in the community. Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery Services are designed to treat clients who are severely and persistently mentally ill. The Contractor will offer the following services based on the needs and work strategy of the client. A client may work through the services consecutively, simultaneously, or may repeat the services as often as necessary to progress towards rehabilitation and recovery. Up to 50 clients can be referred for services. The SLCVA Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery Coordinator (PRRC) will be responsible for coordinating referrals from the SLCVAMC to the contract facility. The results of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is: 623220. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary/ the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. The Government will evaluate market information to ascertain the potential market capacity. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: 1.) Organization name, address, email address, website address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization; and 2.) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administration and management structure of such arrangements. Please provide documentation of the size of your business. If you are classified as a small business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone small business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Woman-Owned Small Business, and/or SBA 8(a) certified small business, please provide a capability statement in addition to other information for acquisition strategy determination. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION, and multiple awards MAY be made.
