Description

This contract was awarded as Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Sole Source for the PBGC's Trust Accounting System (TAS). TAS is an investment portfolio and accounting solution managed by the Financial Operations Department (FOD) to support the accounting and financial reporting of investment assets, plan receivables, and liabilities related to terminated pension plans and the commingled investment portfolio through an application service provider model. One core component of this solution is the ability to automatically obtain market data including security master file updates, securities prices, and corporate actions for securities within the portfolios of terminated pension plans. The only company able to provide Interactive Data Corporations' (IDC) Fund Run and Remote Plus Products is Interactive Data Corporation. The IDC Fund Run and Remote Plus are commercial off the shelf service (COTS) developed and supported exclusively by Interactive Data Corporation.
