- Statement of Work This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA4877-14-Q-0096 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses of those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-70, Defense Circular Number 20131031, and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2013-0827. The results of this requirement will be a firm fixed priced (FFP) contract. This procurement is being issued as a 100% small business set aside. The Associated North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code for this request is 561990 with a size standard $7.0M or under. The results of this requirement will be a firm fixed priced (FFP) contract. The right to make multiple or no award is reserved in the event it is advantageous to the Government to do so. Items called for by this RFQ have been identified in the schedule by brand name. The contractor shall provide the following Contract Line Item Number (CLIN): CLIN 0001: Use of a training facility and parachute packers capable of supporting parachute operations in the greater Tucson AZ, area, to include Pima and Pinal counties, during the timeframe of 8 December 2013 through 14 December 13. Parachute Packers must be certified to pack the Raider/Intruder (RA-1) parachute system in both the static and freefall configuration as well as the JPADS microfly system parachutes. Parachute Packers must be capable of supporting 38 parachute packings per day. The training facility shall be located within 1000 feet of the airport that houses a computer with projector, one dry erase board measuring at least 24" by 48" and table and chairs to support 12 personnel. ALL WORK SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ATTAHED STATEMENT OF WORK. NOTE: The parachute packer shall provide proof of certification for the required parachutes.
