- Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract modification. Under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 6, Subpart 6.302-1 (only one source), the Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Installation Contracting Office at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA intends to contract with Strategic Resources Incorporated, 7927 Jones Branch Dr STE 600 W, Mc Lean, VA 2102 on a sole source basis for CONUS Support Base Services (CSBS) at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. This will be a 4 Four (1)-month Extension of Services option (27 December 2013 through 26 April 2014) to facilitate completion of the follow-on procurement process. Any response to this notice must be an offeror that is a CSBS Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) holder and the response must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical capabilities, pricing, and other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the Governments needs no later than the 15th* day after this notice is posted. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to the Installation Contracting Office Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA. Attn.: W9124D11C9000; 100 COL Joe Jackson Blvd. Ste 2001, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA 98438. This synopsis is not considered a request for bid/quote/proposal. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests for technical information will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on a basis of offers received in response to this notice, but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the Government.
