Description
PACKAGING REQUIREMENT (AFMC FORM 158) SOLICITATION TRANSPORATION REQUIREMENTS (DD FORM 1653) This notice of intent that WR-ALC anticipates issuing a Firm Fixed Price contract with options for the initial quantity of one (1) each for the following NSN: 5220-01-491-8613RN, P/N 130B38A, Gage Comparator Element and Four Options for a quantity of one (1) each. The end item for the equipment is in support of AFMETCAL. The proposed contact action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source is MAHR Federal (Cage Code: 21938) under authority FAR 6.302-1. However, Interested Parties or Person(s) may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal(s). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received within the 30 days after issuance of solicitation, or 30 days after the publication date of this snyopsis will be considered. OMBUDSMAN: All potential offeror(s) should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any concerning this acquisition. If the contracting officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serios contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict conifdentiallity as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not paricipate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. When appropriate, potential offerors(s) may contact Ombudsman Kim McDonald at (478) 222-1088.
