- November 20 2013, The United States Air Forces Central Command (USAFCENT) Support and Reachback Cell (A7KQ), Shaw AFB SC, 29152 intend to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract on a Sole Source basis to Ezenia! of Gig Harbor, WA. Authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The government's requirement is for License Renewal for InfoWorkSpace Server Kit and Concurrent InfoWorkSpace Executive User License Renewal. InfoWorkSpace is manufactured by Ezenia! The manufacturer Ezenia! is the only source able to provide this license renewal. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received within three (3) days of the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
