- SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND PROPOSALS/QUOTATIONS WILL NOT BE REQUESTED This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT to procure the following service: The contractor shall provide all qualified personnel, supervision, supplies, materials, parts, components, equipment, tools, work facility, and transportation to perform repairs of boom control system on a government owned Aerial Boom 3-Ton Truck. The United States Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract to Isuzu Jidosha Kyushu K.K. 5-4-7, Makiminato, Urasoe, Okinawa 901-2131, Japan in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements). Isuzu Jidosha Kyushu K.K. is the sole source to provide the service needed because they are the proprietary source that can provide this service. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811118. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers. Information received from interested parties will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses to this electronic notice must be made by 9:00 a.m. Japan Standard Time (JST) on 27 November 2013.
