- GE Aviation System; CAGE 97415; P/N 7-0621-1; NSN 3110-01-116-8568; PR 50930220 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Critical Application Item; Configuration Control Applies; Quantity of 78 units; Inspection/Acceptance at Origin; FOB at Destination; Requested delivery is 161 days after receipt of order; Electronic offers are not acceptable; Progress Payments are not offered as the conditions at FAR 32.5 have not been met. Any manufacturer other than the approved source wishing to submit a proposal on this item must submit a complete source approval package. A paper copy of the solicitation will be available to requesters. ABVS/PPIRS applies. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This is a Critical Safety Item (CSI), however, there are no First Article Test (FAT) requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA-BSM Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS). Sole Source per FAR 6.302. The solicitation issue date is October 25, 2013. The anticipated closing date is October 31, 2013. The provision at 52.2112-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial applies to this acquisition and statement regarding any addenda to the provision. The provision at 52.212-2 regarding Evaluation of Commercial Items is applicable. All offers must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certification-Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52-212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required, to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding which, if any, of the additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are applicable to the acquisition.
