Description
The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Philadelphia Office, intends to acquire, on a competitive small business set-aside basis, Administrative Support services in patient appointing and referral management services for the Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point, NC (hereafter referred to as the MTF ). The contractor will be responsible for such tasks as staffing, operating and managing appointing, administrative support services, and records management for the MTF. THE DESCRIPTIVE INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS SYNOPSIS REFLECTS CURRENT KNOWLEDGE AS OF THIS PRINTING. THESE FACTS MAY BE UPDATED OR REVISED IN THE ACTUAL REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS, WHEN ISSUED. The contractor shall provide services in support of Navy s Medical Home Port program. The purpose of this requirement is to obtain non-personal administrative support services in patient appointing and referral management; provide each patient with prompt, courteous telephone service, which matches the patient with the appointment most appropriate to the service request; ensure prompt processing and documentation of referral requests to facilitate timely care; and to ensure prompt, accurate, accessible, patient centered data through comprehensive data and database management. It is anticipated that the contractor personnel will work in space provided by the Government at the Military Treatment Facility (MTF). It is intended that this procurement will be processed in accordance with FAR 13.5 will apply. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price service contract will result from this solicitation. It is anticipated that the basic performance period will be 23 March 2014 through 22 March 2014, with a 45 day start-up period making award by 7 February 2014.. It is further anticipated that an additional two (2) twelve-month option periods will be included for a total maximum of thirty-six (36) months of service if all options are exercised. This is 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation N00189-14-T-Z008 is anticipated to be released on or about 4 Feb 2013 and will be made available electronically upon its release to www.neco.navy.mil.
