- PROJECT INFORMATION: This office will issue a solicitation for a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a base period of one year with 4 one year option periods. The intention of this solicitation is to obtain BOS (Base Operation Support) services in the form of Facility Investment (Facility and Preventive Maintenance). The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to properly perform O&M activities that generally include preventative maintenance, repairs, painting, trouble shooting existing systems, servicing existing operations, emergency services, and limited construction alteration, renovation and/or repair activities at the following locations: Region E CODE SITE NAME AL003 Anniston, AL AL011 Dothan, AL AL018 Fort Rucker, AL AL036 Montgomery, Al AL040 Opelika, AL AL075 Fort Rucker ASF AL076 Gunter Annex, AL AL080 Redstone Arsena, AL FL019 Milton, AL FL029 Panama City, FL FL141 Hurlburt Field, FL The order of magnitude for this effort is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000 over the entire 5-year performance period. This acquisition is 100% Total Small Business. The NASIC Code is 561210 with a Size Standard of $35.5M. The Contractor must be register in System For Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov prior to award of this solicitation. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, downloadable from the internet. No CD-ROMs or hardcopy documents will be distributed. Bidders must be registered in the SAM and at the Federal Business Opportunity Homepage (www.fbo.gov) in order to view or download the solicitation documents. It is the responsibility of bidders to monitor the website for notices and amendments. All questions shall be submitted in writing on or before 26 OCT 2013. This solicitation will be posted on or about 6 Oct 2013 with bids due 7 Nov 2013 at 2:00 pm EST. It is highly suggested that prospective offerors attend the site visit, to allow them the best opportunity to fully understand the scope of this project. The site visit originally planned for 16 Oct 2013 is being rescheduled to a later date. As soon as the date is known, the information will be posted.
