- Description
- The purpose of this amendment is to incorporate a revised version of Exhibit A: Pricing Sheet The response due date has been extended from 10/29/13 to 11/14/13 The language in the FAR Clause 52.212-2 - Evaluation - Commercial Items has been updated to allow offerors to propose pricing for qualified parts if a discontinued or obsolete part is identified on the pricing sheet See the attached conform copy of the SF1449 solicitation. All questions in response to this RFP are due by 4:00pm EST 28 October 2013 and shall be sent via email to lisa.m.zarick.civ@mail.mil. All proposals shall be submitted no later than 2:00pm EST Thursday, 14 October 2013. No late proposals will be accepted. See below for questions that have been submitted in response to this solicitation and the corresponding responses provided by the Contract Specialist listed below. All questions and answers will be incorporated into the SF1449 solicitation document after the 28 October 2013 due date listed above for questions. Q1: Can you advise as to the expected delivery order volume for these BPAs? In the past, the there were little no or volume of awards/orders. A1: I am aware of the low volume of orders in the past. I'm hoping that through our communication with the requiring activity we have addressed this during our acquisition planning for this new requirement and we will therefore see more call orders made against the resultant BPAs this time around. Although, as orders will be placed as the parts are needed, we can't know for sure how many orders will need to be placed ahead of time. Q2: Exhibit A-2 has a disconnect between Manufacture, Part numbers, Description and NSN's. A2: A revised Exhibit A has been posted as an addendum to the solicitation to address these discrepancies. This spreadsheet has also been updated to more accurately reflect the Government's anticipated need for repair parts. Q3: Who have been the previous BPA holders? A3: Two Rivers Medical, Tryco Inc., and Goldbelt Wolf, LLC. The respective BPA numbers were W81XWH-08-A-0009, W81XWH-08-A-0010, and W81XWH-08-A-0011. Q4: How does post award process work with the 3 BPA holders? A4: After BPAs are awarded, each call order will be further competed among the BPA holders. Requests for Quotes will be sent to BPA holders to obtain quotes for the repair parts as they are needed. Q5: How is the Exhibit A pricing sheet used after the BPA award? A5: Exhibit A is used to evaluate proposals that are submitted in response to this solicitation and will be incorporated into the resultant BPAs. However, as quotes will be requested for each call order there may be a deviation in prices after a BPA is established. POINT OF CONTACT: Lisa Zarick, Contract Specialist lisa.m.zarick.civ@mail.mil
