Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Rockwell Collins, Government Systems for upgraded software and hardware for the Test Bench Nuclear Hardening (TBNH-6) Terminal Protection Module (TPM). The upgraded software and hardware are necessary to accommodate testing of the new TPM that is part of the E-6B brakes effort. This intended procurement will be processed pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) whereby the supplies and services required are available from only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Rockwell Collins is the only contractor with the necessary technical data to upgrade the Test Bench Nuclear Hardening (TBNH-6) Terminal Protection Module (TPM). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, responsibly sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by NAVAIR.
