Description
The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Natick Contracting Division, has a requirement in support of the US Army Medical Materiel Development Activity (USAMMDA) to provide a Principle Investigator/Technical Subject Matter Expert and support the Study Coordination Center (SCC) by assisting the PI and individual study locations in the areas of subject screening, monitoring and follow-up in order to administrate outcome assessments with Intermountain Health Care under the authority of FAR Subpart 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A) and (B). The current vendor has provided subject matter expertise in the area of hyperbaric oxygen research for the last four years. The PI was initially participating through an Interpersonal Agreement sponsored by the Navy followed by a contract awarded through the Army Contracting Command. The Study Coordination Center has provided expertise in the area of study execution under two contracts beginning in June 2009. Intermountain Health Care has been instrumental in supporting the development of this novel project and subsequent regulatory and human protection documents to establish the study. The study requires that current scientific leadership and subject matter expertise remain intact to avoid significant delays and significant cost overruns. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement to the U.S. Army RDECOM Contracting Center, Natick Contracting Division via e-mail to: Nathan.c.jordan.civ@us.mail.mil no later than 9:00 a.m. on October 14, 2013.
