Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for NAICS: 511130. The U.S. Army, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, 66027 intends to negotiate a sole-source purchase order with Personal Strengths North America for the Strength Deployment Inventory: Standard Edition that is utilized in the Army Management Staff College (AMSC) curriculum. This is a sole source procurement under Acquisition of Commercial Items (FAR 12), and Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, however; any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Office by 1700 Central Time on 9 October 2013. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed above. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement. Reponses are due 9 October 2013 1700 Central Time. Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to Brent.L.Davis.mil@mail.mil. Telephone requests or inquiries will not be accepted.
