- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. The Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD), 10221 Ave E, Bldg 1770, Corpus Christi, Texas, 78419 has a requirement UH60/HH60 MEDEVAC Fixture Tooling Set. CLIN 0001: UH60/HH60 MEDEVAC FIXTURE TOOLING SET, The Government intends to award a firm-fixed priced sole source purchase order to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation the only distributor of the MEDEVAC fixture tooling set for the UH60/HH60. Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, 6900 Main Street, Stratford, CT 06615-9129. The contract action is for services or supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization). The Government only knows of one approved source for the UH60/HH60 MEDEVAC Fixture Tooling Set and Sikorsky is the only source that can accomplish this requirement. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 336413 and the Business Size Standard is 1000. This solicitation is not a request for competitive quotes; however all quotes received by the closing date will be considered by the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This determination is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 11:00 a.m. Central Daylight Saving Time, 7 October, 2013 to rendell.l.long.civ@mail.mil. As a result, this notice is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes.
