- APPROVED JBSA LACKLAND 130928DNA NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD The 802 Contracting Squadron, intends to award a sole-source purchase order to the UT Health Science Center, San Antonio (UTHSCSA) for molecular extraction of DNA. UTHSCSA, is located at 7703 Floyd Curl, San Antonio Texas 78229-3900, (210) 567-2059 and is the only molecular laboratory locally that fulfill Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center's (WHASC) Requirement in the time fram required. (FAR 13.106-1(b). (Soliciting from a single Source) This procurement has the NAICS code of 621511 with a $35,000,000.00 size standard. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers interested persons may identify their interest and capability to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals nor a solic itation for offers. However, all proposals received within 3 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
