- The Technology Applications Contracting Office (TAKO) has responded to the received questions regarding the Request for Information (RFI) to clarify information. Responses for more detailed system information, contractor/vendor/interested parties shall submit a Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Joint Certification Office approved DD Form 2345 to heather.m.linzy.civ@mail.mil. This RFI is hereby extended again to 07 OCT 2013. 1. Q: Can you provide us the proposed Interface Control Document (ICD)? If the ICD is not available, please provide any interface information that is available. A: A proposed ICD is not available at this time. 2. Q: What is the Government's estimated schedule for first deliveries? A: The Government anticipates first deliveries between Jan-Mar 2015. 3. Q: Are propose multiple solutions permissible with each solution subject to the stated page limits and can these be submitted under one transmittal? A: Yes, multiple solutions are allowed, each with an individual page limit of 4 pages. 4. Q: Does the Government have an estimated number of MFD ship-sets anticipated as part of this program? A: The Government anticipates less than 75 for single display solutions, and less than 150 for dual display solutions. 5. Q: Paragraph 3.1.3 of the solicitation states a four page limit for the description, but beginning with paragraph 3.1.3.22 requests additional information for systems with video processing capabilities. In a proposed MFD possesses these additional characteristics, can the four page limit be exceed to provide the additional information and supporting verbiage? A: Yes, additional pages are allowed for video processing capability descriptions but the responders are encouraged to make their responses clear and concise without superfluous information. 6. Q: Will the Mission Processor for this respective program be the subject of a future RFI? If so, what is the anticipated release date? A: Yes, an RFI for a mission processor will be released in the next 31 days for program planning purposes.
