- J&A The RFQ will be issued to:RAYTHEON CO.,(Cage Code 05716 ) because the manufacture of this part requires special test and or inspection facilities to determine and manintain ultra-precision quality for its function or system integrity. Firms that recognize and can produce the required items described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the web site www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under standard aviation and missile source approval request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offeror which shall be considered by the agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
