- DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) and the solicitation number is F4ATA73217A001. The 772 ESS/PKH Contracting Squadron, Tyndall AFB, Florida, requires the following: F70 AM-2 Kits and Anchor Kits. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: The solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-69 effective 3 Sep 2013, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation DPN 20130909 effective 9 Sep 2013, and Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation AFAC 2013 Baseline, effective 27 Aug 2013. This acquisition is a competitive full and open acquisition under the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 332216, Saw Blade and Handtool Manufacturing. The business size standard 500 employees. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded. The contract will be awarded with multiple Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN). All interested parties must bid on all items. See below for the breakdown. Please note the delivery requirements are FOB Destination. CLIN Description QTY Unit of Issue 0001 F70 AM-2 Kit 4 Each See Attachment 1 0002 Anchor Kit 4 Each See Attachment 1 & 2 BASIS FOR AWARD: The Government intends to award without discussions one firm fixed price contract for the acquisition of items listed above using multiple Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN). All interested parties must quote on all items. Award will be made to the lowest price responsible offeror that is determined to be technically acceptable. The Government intends to select one contractor; however, the Government reserves the right to award no contract at all. Since award will be based on initial responses, offerors are highly encouraged to quote their most advantageous pricing in their initial response. All offerors must list their DUNS number, CAGE code, and Federal TIN with Company name, POC, and phone number.
