- The contractor shall perform efforts, in accordance with OD 32144, in order to select and qualify a new network device that meets the requirement for portability as defined by the Afloat Training Subsystem Concept of Operation Scenario. Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS) Pittsfield, MA. GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the United States and United Kingdom TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
